Whisky made by a long fermentation process, without colouring or chill-filtering.
Glenallachie is one of the youngest distilleries. The distillery was located in Banffshire, an area of Speyside and particularly rich in distilleries.
Colour: Bright bronze.
Nose: Sweet aromas of caramel and honey lead the way, with sultanas, almonds, banana and mocha in the background. Hints of freshly cut oak.
Palate: Rich flavours of honey, marzipan and bananas, with notes of caramel, sultanas and a delicate touch of mocha. Notes of ginger, malted barley and vanilla come together on the finish.
