Description

The Artichoke is a perennial plant and is often cultivated as a food. The leaves of the Artichoke have a complex composition of active ingredients. Among these, they stand out for their richness in Caffeoylquinic Acids and their derivatives, mainly Cynarin and Chlorogenic Acid. Additionally, it contains Flavonoids, Sesquiterpene Lactones, Mucilages, Essential Oil, Phytosterols and Triterpenes, Vitamins A, B2 and C, and Potassium and Magnesium Salts. These active ingredients, which as mentioned before are found in the leaves, are present in greater proportion in the ones corresponding to the first year of life. We have selected a glycerinated extract of Artichoke with a ratio of 1:8. This means that for every gram of extract, 8 grams of plant have been used. Our glycerinated extract of Artichoke is standardized to contain 5 mg/ml of Cynarin, providing 15 mg per day.

Directions for Use

Take 1 ml (approximately 28 drops) diluted in water three times a day, preferably before main meals.
