But the Costa family discovered decades ago that the most natural way to make horchata reach as many homes as possible was by concentrating it, and since 1940, the HISC horchata began to be produced. Today it is the only company in the world that makes concentrated horchata.
Thanks to research, updating, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing process, including selection, cleaning, grinding, extraction, pasteurization, and bottling, they managed to produce concentrated horchata of the highest quality, meaning they are the only ones capable of concentrating up to more than 10% of fat content, as established by the regulations for concentrates for products like horchata.
