Guímaro Mundin is a red wine from Ribeira Sacra D.O. made by Adegas Guímaro with Mencía and other local varieties from vineyards in the area of Santa María de Nogueira, around the river Miño, with more than 60 years of age on granitic soils.
The grapes are harvested by hand, with 40% of the grapes being scraped off and then fermented in the traditional way. Aged for 18 months in oval foudre of 3.000 litres.
