It has a diuretic effect and is therefore recommended in cases of edema. It has a wide popular application as a diuretic and antispasmodic at urinary tract level (action that could be due to potassium salts and coumarins); it is demulcent, astringent, expectorant, depurative, antispasmodic.

How to use:

Infusion (boil for a few moments) 1 tablespoon of plant per cup of water. Let stand a few minutes, strain and drink up to 3 cups a day.
