This ham comes from pigs of 50% Iberian breed (crossbred Iberians) raised in semi-intensive (semi-freedom in the countryside). The animals graze and live in the countryside, exercising and feeding naturally on cereals, although not in dehesas with access to the montanera, so the pieces are classified as "cebo de campo" (field-fed).
