Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the picual variety, bright green color, luminous, with intense fruity notes of fresh olives, and great complexity of aromas of herbaceous and fruity notes, highlighting green banana, almond, and green tomato. Producer: Picualia
Origin: Bailén (Jaén)
Green color with slight yellow tones, unctuous, with body and very bright appearance.
Freshness with medium-high intensity of fruity notes with a predominance of green. The leaf is clearly appreciated in combination with freshly cut grass notes, while fruity descriptors such as banana or fig are also evident, with aromas of tomato plant and mint standing out.
Due to its silky texture, the entry into the mouth is pleasant. The attributes detected on the nose are appreciated again, including some more such as artichoke and green wheat, with a fresh, fruity, and green flavor. Bitterness and spiciness are present firmly to a good extent, that is, medium intensity without overshadowing the fruity olive notes, highlighting the hint of mint and chlorophyll that envelops the entire oral cavity and invades the retro-nasal passage, leaving a long aftertaste and conferring astringency at the end.
Oil balanced in fruity notes, aromas, spiciness, and bitterness while being complex due to the variety of nuances and harmonious due to the balance of these, making it an elegant oil in the overall assessment.
