This year we could not leave aside the difficult situation of pandemic we are living and that is why the First Harvest Day pays tribute to health workers, from all fields, with "El Aplauso"
The Applause
This Applause goes further and Picualia will donate 5% of the profits of this EVOO to the Branyas Project of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) on the impact of Covid19 on dependents in nursing homes
The artist Diego Ortega Alonso, author of the label, has once again masterfully captured this tribute. We hope you like it as much as we do and participate in our tribute to the sanitary.
Intense green colour, unctuous, full-bodied and very bright
Freshness with high intensity of fruitiness with a predominance of green. The leaf is clearly appreciated in combination with notes of freshly cut grass while fruit descriptors such as banana or fig and highlighting aromas of tomato plant and mint appear.
Freshness with high intensity fruity predominantly green
Because of its silky texture, its entry in the mouth is pleasant. The attributes detected on the nose are again appreciated, including some more like artichoke and green wheat, with fresh, fruity and green flavors. The bitterness and spiciness are present with firmness in good measure, that is, medium intensity and without surpassing the olive fruitiness, highlighting the nuance of good grass and chlorophyll that envelops the entire mouth cavity and invades the retro-nasal route leaving a long aftertaste and conferring astringency at the end. Oil balanced in fruitiness, aromas, spicy and bitter at the same time that is complex by the variety of nuances and harmonious by the balance of these, so that in the overall assessment is an elegant oil
