José Pariente Verdejo is a white wine produced in the Rueda region. Made from the Verdejo grape variety, native to the region and one of the most emblematic in the country. This wine is produced at José Pariente winery, a family winery located in La Seca (Valladolid). Founded in 1940, the winery specializes in the production of high-quality white wines. After the harvest, the musts ferment in stainless steel tanks, concrete tanks, and wooden vats. In some vinifications, there is a hint of malolactic fermentation depending on acidity levels. The wines age on their lees for 4 months. The blending process is what characterizes the uniqueness and differentiation of this wine. José Pariente Verdejo is known for being a bright and clean white wine, with pale yellow tones and a greenish reflection. Its aroma offers minerality from the stony soil of the area, combined with hints of fennel, anise, white fruit, and stone fruit. In the mouth, it is a rich, sweet, and elegant wine, with a smooth touch of bitterness at the end, characteristic of the Verdejo variety. A complex, intense, and balanced wine.
