Le naturel is a wine with no added sulfites, a natural wine, in which the key is to intervene as little as possible, both in the vineyard and in the
Le naturel is a wine without sulfites added, a natural wine, in which the key is to intervene as little as possible, both in the vineyard and in the winery, to make it the grapes that speak, that the wine is pure fruit. It is a wine of the D.O. Navarra that we have made in Bodegas Aroa, where very recently we have assumed the direction and management of this pioneering project in sustainable viticulture. It is the perfect winery to make natural wines, and that's why we were especially excited to become part of this adventure.
We have dispensed of sulphur dioxide (SO2), which is the preservative used in most wineries. Therefore, in the bottle of Le naturel you will not find the typical "contains sulfites", because the level is so low (less than 10 mg/liter, only that naturally generates the must during fermentation) that the legislation allows us not to put it.
What we do have put is a preferential consumption date. Why? Because just by not adding sulfur, if we don't keep the wine properly at a cool, stable temperature, it can evolve faster than normal. If you keep it in a dark and cool place, with a temperature below 16 degrees, this wine will remain perfect for consumption for a long time, possibly as much as any other young wine.
Le naturel is a clean and shiny wine, dominated by beautiful raspberry tones, surprising for a red wine. On the nose is fresh and frank, with a good intensity, highlighting the notes of blackberries and violets. In Boca has a fresh fruit attack, which reveals its origin of vineyards in height. It has a very nice step and it is a nice wine, light and very easy to drink.
