The albariño Martín Códax is elaborated in its entirety with Albariño grape, following a rigorous and painstaking process to guarantee its varietal purity and the traditional essence of the wines originating in the Salnés.
Martín Códax , the character who gave his name to our Albariño, was one of the most important Galician troubadours of the Middle Ages. The Vindel parchment houses its cantigas, the oldest of the Galaico-Portuguese, which extol love and passion for the sea.
Albariño Martín Códax is clean, shiny, lemon-yellow colour with greenish reflections.
Medium intensity with ripe citrus notes such as lime and Mandarin. The Florarl note (Hawthorn White, jasmine and orange blossom) and a hay-type herbaceous background predominate.
In the mouth it is enveloping, fresh and with good balance. The retronasal reminds of the note of the ripe citrus.
