Silymarin is composed of three isomers called silybin, silydianin and silychristin, all of which are classified as flavonolignans, silybin being the most important component. It takes 8.5 grams of seeds of the plant to obtain 286 mg of milk thistle extract, the amount present in each of our pills (tablets or tablets).
