Creamy farmhouse cow's cheese.
It is somewhere between Mont d'or and Reblochon, it is matured in spruce bark which gives it a slight sweet and woody taste.
27% fat.
This cheese, with its very creamy soft paste and washed rind, offers a pronounced taste that lingers in the mouth. Thanks to its unctuous texture, it is generous, slightly salty, and offers deliciously woody aromas due to the spruce strap that surrounds it. It is made in the Bauges massif. |
