Puleva Ecológica, is milk that comes exclusively from organic farms, where the cows receive a healthy and natural diet from organic farming, without herbicides or pesticides, enjoy freedom to graze in open meadows and their health and well-being are cared for.
Farms that guarantee that the cultivation and care of the animals has been done respecting the environment and in a sustainable manner. In our country, the control and certification oforganic production, was exercised by a public body at the state level, the CRAE (Regulatory Council of Organic Agriculture). In March 1996 the powers were transferred to agencies under the Autonomous Communities.
In our case, this certification corresponds to the Regulatory Council of Organic Agriculture of Galicia. In addition, so that all consumers can recognize this type of food and beverages, there is also an EU organic production logo that serves to complement the usual labeling and increase its visibility
