Oscar Mestre Renaix de Giró is a young red wine from Alicante produced by Bodegas Riko Xaló with Giró and Syrah.
Young red wine made with the native Giró grape variety and a touch of Syrah from old vines. It is what we call the new Alicante wine profile, a dry wine, which seeks the freshness of the Mediterranean in a dry viticulture and maximum respect.
The winemaking process begins in the field, clearing and leaving a low load of clusters, selecting only the loosest clusters to guarantee maximum quality.
Produced with a clean look, fermentation with indigenous yeasts and whole grain without crushing in small stainless steel tanks. No fining or stabilisation is carried out.
Appearance : Intense and clean cherry colour, light rim with violet reflections.
Nose: In the glass we find intense aromas of red and black fruits and the freshness of the Mediterranean forest.
Palate: A well-structured wine, full-bodied for a young wine, long on the palate and very sweet.
Pairing: It goes perfectly with traditional dishes such as escalibada, Valencian paella or a good grilled meat cooked to perfection.
Serving temperature: Between 14-17 ºC.
