Few companies can boast about being managed by the fourth generation of women and Pago de Espejo is one of them.

In the 1920s it was the grandmother of the current owner who was the driving force behind the purchase of the La Condesa estate, located in Villanueva de la Reina, Jaén

Since then it has been the women who have helped in the fields, in the harvest or in some of the stages of production of their extra virgin olive oil of the picual variety

Over the years the estate has prospered and the Espejo family bought the adjacent plots of land until it reached the 200 hectares it has today. In all these years the role of women in this family has been fundamental for the development of the whole crop. From generation to generation they have been transmitting the knowledge to take care of the olive tree in order to obtain an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality that, since only three years ago, they also commercialize in an attractive design

Red has always been the colour that has represented Pago de Espejo, alluding to their native Andalusia, the passion of their work and the magic or "duende" of the south.

The Pago de Espejo estate is delimited under the same boundary, which allows a perfect control of the whole process of harvesting our olives

Harvested in early November and produced with an absolute delicacy, our oil is the result of a meticulous process of collection and extraction, where it is crushed in the hours after collection, is decanted by a natural process, to finally filter it, thus preserving its incomparable properties.
