Nose: Muy intensa y compleja, con notas de frutos secos, almendra, pan de especias, piel de naranja confitada y madera exótica.

One of the most outstanding oenological rarities are the palos cortados. These can only be found among the oldest criaderas of fortified wines. It honors the winery's initial oil , where in the past the "finos" were promoted to "olorosos" in butts located in the courtyards. It is made using the traditional system of criaderas with soleras with sacas and dewings, until completing an average age of at least 20 years.regarding the pairing, from Casa Ortega we can recommend this duckmagret.It can also be served with smoked fish or fish in oil, pickles and game dishes. However, being a wine with such a strong personality, it is spectacular to enjoy on its own.
