Sugar extracted directly from sugar cane, without chemical treatments, from Organic Agriculture. The Manduvirá Cooperative was founded in 1975, located in the town of Arroyos y Esteros in southwest Paraguay. The cooperative's objective is to help its members bring their sugar cane and other products to the market and provide services such as credits and savings accounts, aid programs, technical support, and training for agriculture.

Alternative 3 imports, processes, and distributes fair trade organic products that have been produced respecting human rights, the environment, and social justice. It is a member of WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) and CECJ (State Coordinator of Fair Trade).
