Pelissero Moscato D'Asti is a white wine made from Moscato in the DOC Moscato d'Asti by the Pelissero family.
Moscato is an aromatic variety; the grapes are harvested in 20kg crates and destemmed on arrival at the winery where they are lightly pressed at low temperatures to maintain the aromatic characteristics. The grapes are immediately cold decanted and the skins are separated from the must, which is then fermented in pressurised stainless steel tanks.
Pelissero maintains the same philosophy established by the founders in 1957: varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto from their 42 hectares of vineyards. Their spirit of continuous improvement, passion and commitment are evident when enjoying each of their bottles in the best restaurants around the world.
Appearance: Greenish yellow colour with golden glints and slightly carbonated.
Nose: Typical aromas of white flowers, acacia, passion fruit and honey with gentle mineral notes of sage, oregano and mint linked to the character of the soils.
Palate: It is tasty and very pleasant, with a good acidity that creates a perfect interplay with the residual sugar from the ripening of the grapes.
