Our piquillo peppers are grown in Navarre, one of the five Basque provinces. They are grilled over a wood fire before being peeled. Known for their sweet, fruity and soft flesh, del piquillo peppers are used in the making of several tapas and are very popular in Basque cuisine.
Our tasting tips: For your tapas, your mixed salads or your sauces, peppers remain the preferred accompaniment to your grilled meats. The dish that showcases them the most remains the piquillo with cod stuffing.
