Smugglers crossed territorial and legal boundaries to bring us products from Portugal, difficult to obtain in Spain. This wine tries to bypass them, offering a unique blend of Tinta de Toro and Portuguese Touriga Nacional, crossing the border and daring to do what no one has done before.

PRODUCTION AREA. Sanzoles. Toro Region. Zamora. Castilla y León.

VARIETIES:

- Touriga Nacional: 30%. One of the most important grape varieties from the neighboring country. With low yield and small berry size. It adds structure, body, and a significant amount of tannins to the wine. It has a great aromatic potential, with black fruit aromas predominating.

- Tinta de Toro: 70%. Best-known grape variety in the Toro region. Although it belongs to the Tempranillo family, this grape has specific characteristics and qualities. Small grains and abundant tannin suitable for producing powerful, structured wines with a marked personality and intensity.

PRODUCTION.

• - Unique blend of two grape varieties from both sides of the

  Spanish-Portuguese border, trying to create a

  mix of cultures, styles, and varieties.

• - Alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel tanks, with controlled temperature.

• - Malolactic fermentation in barrel.

  AGING. 12 months in new French oak barrels. Serve at a temperature of 14-15 oC.

Exclusive production of 1,350 bottles.
