Sauerkraut is a shredded cabbage that is fermented and seasoned. A typical dish from Central Europe, which you can use to season a salad, on its own, hot by adding it to a stew, or as a side dish to another dish. The fermented cabbage has a large amount of non-toxic lactic acid. Gluten-free.

Drain the water from the jar and add the sauerkraut to a salad or, if preferred, add it to your favorite stew. It can be eaten directly from the jar or heated without boiling. Storage Once opened, store in the refrigerator.
