The sena has laxative, purgative, depurative and vermifuge properties, being for this reason widely used to treat gastrointestinal problems, especially constipation. This plant softens the stool and can be used to relieve discomfort when evacuating in people with anal fissure and hemorrhoids.
How to use:
Infusion (boil for a few moments) 1 teaspoon of plant per cup of water. Let stand a few minutes, strain and take, preferably at night. Over 12 years old. Not recommended during pregnancy.
