Branched-chain amino acids, also known as BCAA's (short for Branched-Chain Amino Acids) are three: Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine. These are essential amino acids that our body is not able to synthesize on its own, so it is necessary to incorporate them into our diet. Amino acids are the essential units of proteins, which later become part of muscles, cartilage, and are even crucial for the immune system. In certain situations such as intense exercise, our body breaks down the amino acids that are part of our muscle proteins. For this reason, and in this situation, consuming branched-chain amino acids is interesting. Following the recommendations of the latest published studies, we include a ratio of BCAA's 8:1:1 (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine, respectively), with a higher amount of L-Leucine than the traditionally used ratio of 2:1:1. The formula is reinforced with L-Glutamine.
L-Leucine (Kyowa) 4500 mg, L-Glutamine (Kyowa) 3071.2 mg, Watermelon Flavor (Flavor), L-Isoleucine (Kyowa) 563 mg, L-Valine (Kyowa) 563 mg, Sucralose (Sweetener), Beetroot (Colorant)
In strength training: Consume 10 grams (2 level scoops) once the effort is finished. In endurance training: Consume 10 grams (2 scoops) divided into two doses, 5 grams 30 minutes before training and 5 grams after training. *A level scoop corresponds to 5 g. It can be taken simultaneously with our protein shake.
