Ground wild sumac
It has a sour, earthy, and woody flavor. It can be used in any dish that requires lemon zest or juice, also as a seasoning replacing salt.
You can sprinkle it on vegetables and tomatoes, fish, legumes, sauces, etc...
If you are a fan of chef Ottolenghi's cuisine, sumac is a must-have.
On Greek yogurt, with a squeeze of lemon, it's spectacular.
