Volcanic Malvasía vines grown on ungrafted vines in a Cordon Royat Simple system, on volcanic soils with vegetal cover. Fermented in a foudre with native yeast. Aged for 9 months on lees in a 25hl foudre.
Tamerán is a new project that emerged on the island of Gran Canaria in 2019. This winery is driven by David Silva, who acquired a large estate in the centre of the island, which had 6 hectares of vineyards already planted in the Cordón Royat Simple system of multiple native Canarian varieties.
These vineyards are located between 620 and 700 metres above sea level on the border of the municipalities of Santa Lucía and San Bartolomé de Tirajana and are highly influenced by the volcanic rock present.
Appearance: Straw yellow colour.
Nose: Fresh, perfumed and floral aromas, with predominance of citrus notes, white fruits, sweet spices, toasted bread and white flowers.
Palate: Tasty, saline, with very good acidity and persistent.
