Producer: Distillerie Denoix (19)
Discover with Quinquinoix the traditional recipe for walnut wine. This aperitif is undoubtedly the most famous of the Dordogne, the Périgord and its surroundings.
To make it, Denoix Distillery uses green walnuts from the region picked in the summer on Saint John's Day. They are then pressed to give a juice that is aged for 5 years in oak barrels.
This walnut wine is made with white wine, which makes for a rather dry and delicious aperitif for walnut lovers.
