A diverse and balanced cheese platter as we like it featuring six varieties of cheese from our French regions.

This cheese board we offer is composed of four families of cheeses (hard, soft with bloomy rind, soft with washed rind and finally blue-veined).

This "must-have", including mild but also more assertive flavours, has been imagined to meet all tastes.

We have carefully selected the cheeses on this platter because they allow you to satisfy all the tastes and desires of your guests:

  • Brillat-Savarin PGI: This cheese, from the soft cheese family with a bloomy rind, has a creamy and smooth texture with a sweet lactic aroma.
  • Crottin de chèvre : This cheese with a soft texture reveals a sweet taste.
  • Reblochon fermier PDO: This cheese from Haute-Savoie is from the family of soft cheeses with washed rind. It has a supple and creamy texture and a subtle taste of hazelnut.
  • Langres: This is a soft washed-rind cheese with a creamy texture. It is characterized by its spicy flavor.
  • Comté fruité PDO: This hard cheese surprises us with the smoothness that we feel in the mouth and its fruit flavors.
  • Fourme d'Ambert: belonging to the family of blue-veined cheeses, the Fourme d'Ambert finds its identity in the combination of its supple and creamy texture with fragrant notes of blue.

Our tasting tips:

To accompany your cheese tasting, we advise you to vary the wines according to the cheeses. Indeed, hard and soft cheeses go perfectly with a dry and powerful white wine such as a Jura wine or a Riesling, while blue-veined cheeses are served with both red and white sweet wines. Finally, goat's milk cheeses are best served with a cool white wine (Chablis or Sancerre in particular).

The cheese board for 6 to 10 people (800g minimum) is composed of:

  • 1 soft goat cheese crottin(60g)
  • 1/4 of Reblochon fermier PDO (125g)
  • 1 portion of Comté fruité AOP (200g)
  • 1 Langres PDO (180g)
  • 1 portion of Fourme d'Ambert PDO (150g):

The cheese board for 12 to 16 people (1400g minimum) includes:

  • 1/2 Brillât Savarin PGI (250g)
  • 1 Chabichou du Poitou PDO (180g)
  • 1/2 Reblochon fermier PDO (250g)
  • 1 portion of Comté fruité AOP (250g)
  • 1 Langres PDO (180g)
  • 1 portion of Fourme d'Ambert PDO (300g)

The order contains the cheeses, the tray (optional), the labels. For the best possible tasting, take your cheese tray out of the refrigerator before tasting. A golden rule for tasting: start with the mildest cheese and work your way up in flavor.
