INGREDIENTS:
Glycerin (moisturizer), citric acid (acidity regulator), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), vitamin E (antioxidant).
INDICATIONS
It has a wide range of functions and a deficiency of vitamin B12 can cause chronic fatigue, depression or chronic stress.
- Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient for our body that can only be obtained actively from animal-based foods.
- Vegan diets are devoid of animal-based products, therefore they must include B12 supplementation to complete the intake of all nutrients.
- Although a vegetarian diet may include sources of Vitamin B12, such as eggs or dairy, meeting the nutritional requirements of this nutrient would require consuming many servings per day of these food groups, potentially displacing a healthy diet. Therefore, B12 supplementation is recommended for both vegetarians and vegans.
- Although vitamin B12 has been found in some algae, it is not in an active form for humans. They are molecules with the same structure, but they are not functional. Therefore, Cyanocobalamin form of Vitamin B12 is the most recommended today.
