The Viña Ardanza Reserva Magnum is an exceptional wine produced by La Rioja Alta S.A., a renowned winery. This wine combines traditional craftsmanship with modern winemaking excellence.
The Viña Ardanza Reserva Magnum is a wine that captivates the senses. It is made from the grape varieties: Tempranillo (80%) and Garnacha (20%). These varieties are grown in selected vineyards in La Rioja, where the climate and soil provide ideal conditions for these varieties. The Tempranillo grapes come from the La Cuesta and Montecillo estates in Fuenmayor and Cenicero. The Garnacha comes from La Pedriza in Tudelilla, an estate that has unbeatable conditions for cultivating this variety.
This wine is aged for the first 3 years in American oak barrels, with 3 wines for the Tempranillo and 30 months for the Garnacha. It is then aged in the bottle for a minimum of 2 years before being released for sale.
It has a dark cherry red color. On the nose, there is a great intensity with prominent spicy aromas of black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, and vanilla that envelop the fine notes of red fruits. On the palate, it has a pleasant structure, balanced acidity, and delicate and enveloping tannins. It has a long aftertaste and an elegant finish.
