Whisky Brenne Single Malt French
This French Single Malt Whisky is finished in Cognac barrels. Distilled, matured, and bottled 100% in Cognac, France. It stands out for its smoothness and fruity fragrance. It combines fruity expressions followed by gentle notes of malted barley and a sweet balance provided by the Cognac barrels.
Brenne uses first-use Limousin oak barrels and finishes aging in barrels used to age Cognac. These two barrels give it a lot of tree fruit, vanilla, and warm spice notes.
Each bottle of Brenne comes from a single barrel selected at its peak. No barrels are blended.
For its production, colder fermentations are carried out in small batch production, combined with double distillation in copper stills, resulting in a smoother finish.
Brenne Estate Cask is individually bottled from the same barrel, and the aging of each barrel varies, as it depends on how long the Cognac was previously in it. On average, Brenne matures in each barrel for approximately 7 years.
It is perfect for making cocktails. Brenne is suggested in cocktails that allow all its virtues to be recognized, such as a Manhattan, with just a touch of orange, without vermouth or bitters. Only Brenne, ice, and orange.
