THE WINERY
In 1957, the Cigales Cooperative Winery was born with the purpose of offering a quality product without neglecting tradition, maintaining the underground structure of the old winemakers of Cigales.
The average production of the Cigales Cooperative Winery is around 1,500,000 kilos of grapes and is mainly oriented towards the vinification of rosé, the renowned 'Clarete'.
However, due to the fact that our vineyards are the oldest in the region, red wine production is becoming increasingly prominent.
Our wines are produced in the Cigales region, which covers an area of 574 km2, on both banks of the Pisuerga in the northern sector of the Duero Depression.
