oie gras MI CUIT 250g is a piece of whole duck foie gras (not ground) vacuum packed and subjected to a light heat treatment (pasteurization) that barely alters the physical structure, composition, and organoleptic characteristics of the foie gras.
Micuit is characterized by a compact and shiny appearance, a corn yellow color, and a strong and penetrating flavor and aroma. Due to the low cooking of the foie gras, the foie Micuit has an incomparable velvety texture.
Usage tips
Foie Gras Mi Cuit corresponds to a whole piece of unground duck foie gras, and therefore, it has a texture for slicing.
How to serve foie gras; take the Foie Gras out of the refrigerator and keep it at room temperature between 5 and 20 minutes before tasting it to appreciate all its qualities.
Once opened, slice thinly. To do this, use a well-sharpened knife, previously passed through hot water, and make cuts on the cold foie gras. You can also use a cheese or butter cutter.
If you want to consume it cold, you should keep it at room temperature for 10 minutes to achieve the aroma, texture, and flavor characteristics of the best foie gras.
When serving it hot, after slicing it, you can brown it in a dry pan or griddle.
