This Iberian Chorizo from Salamanca is an exceptional selection of cured meat, made by Artesana Jamonera, a company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Made from lean and fatty Iberian pork, this cured meat is seasoned with salt and paprika, undergoing a controlled maceration process at approximately 4°C for 12 hours. After this phase, it ages in a specific cellar for 3 to 5 months to ensure proper curing.
Iberian Chorizo is a typical product of the Iberian Peninsula, known for its quality and unmistakable flavor, thanks to the spice blend and meat selection. It is vacuum-sealed, in plastic bags and/or in polystyrene trays, ensuring freshness and quality.
It is recommended to store the chorizo refrigerated at a temperature of 5°C, where the preferred consumption is within 5 days, and up to 15 days if vacuum-packed. Additionally, if you decide to freeze it, it can be enjoyed for up to 18 months. Undoubtedly, an ideal product for gourmet lovers.
