Typical sweet from the town of Allariz (Ourense), handmade with 100% natural ingredients, with marcona almonds as the main ingredient. Golden on the outside thanks to the baking in the oven, but very juicy on the inside. Intense almond flavor, with a flaky pastry base.

It is believed that this cake is of Hebrew origin, since in Allariz existed in the Middle Ages an important settlement of this people. Both the recipe and the elaboration process, completely manual, have remained intact until today.
