Solgar® Advanced Acidophilus is a non-dairy probiotic that contains the specially cultivated strain of L. acidophilus (LA-5®), with a long history and backed by various safety and efficacy studies. Each capsule provides 500 million microorganisms. Lactobacillus acidophilus are beneficial microorganisms naturally found in the digestive tract.

This patented strain ensures the survival of the microorganisms in the face of stomach acidity, facilitating their incorporation into the intestinal flora. The digestive tract is home to the microbiota, which comprises billions of bacteria and plays various roles in the body. Consuming fermented foods, such as yogurt, tempeh, cheese, and sauerkraut, can help replenish these microorganisms.

Our new patented packaging, made with 100% recyclable plastic and designed exclusively for our probiotics, controls the moisture adsorption kinetics to protect the probiotic formulations from external moisture, reducing the negative effects of water activity on the product. This is a technologically designed packaging, which includes an integrated desiccant in the walls, to ensure product stability, prolong its shelf life, and eliminate the need for desiccant pads inside the jar.

All Solgar® Advanced probiotics use a technology with a polysaccharide matrix that protects live bacteria from stomach acid that could destroy them during passage. This matrix is composed of a specially formulated blend that provides protection and nourishment to the microorganisms, improving product stability, and does not require refrigeration (optional).

Directions

For adults, take one (1) or two (2) capsules daily, preferably with meals.

Swallow the capsules with water or another beverage.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose for this product.
