Aware of the potential offered by the municipality of Labastida for vine cultivation, in 2005 the Torres family decided to establish their winery there, an event that allows them to produce wines of great quality, their own personality, and a very good aptitude for aging. Like this one called "Altos Ibéricos", a noble wine that owes its name to Alto Otero, a beautiful spot located in that winery.
Elaboration: Made with the tempranillo variety, it is aged for 12 months in oak barrels and a long time in the bottle. Tasting note: Color: cherry. Nose: frank and intense with white flowers and red fruits, in balance with the spicy and toasted aromas provided by the oak barrel aging. Palate: the entry is fresh and velvety, with a long journey where the finesse and smoothness of its tannins are expressed. Pairing: Altos Ibéricos has been developed to perfectly match the new trends in avant-garde cuisine. Its fruity sensations and soft tannins combine especially well with all kinds of tapas made with fresh ingredients; such as red meats, blue fish, cheeses and, especially, all kinds of cured meats. Serving Temperature: Serve between 14-16°C.
