Antídoto Tinto is a wine made in the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, created by the prestigious winemaker Bertrand Sourdais.
This wine stands out for its respect for the winemaking traditions and terroir of the San Esteban de Gormaz area, where old Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) vineyards are grown on sandy and calcareous soils. The result is a balanced, elegant wine with character.
Appearance: With an intense cherry red colour with violet reflections, Antídoto Tinto has a medium-high layer that anticipates its concentration.
Nose: Complex and seductive aroma where red and black fruits such as raspberry, blackberry and cherries stand out, accompanied by floral notes and a subtle spicy touch from the ageing in barrels.
Palate: On the palate, it is perceived as fresh, with soft and well-integrated tannins. Its structure is elegant and balanced, with a vibrant acidity that gives it freshness. Notes of ripe fruit and light mineral touches appear, reflecting the terroir. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation.
Antidote is a red wine of D.O. C Ribera del Duero elaborated by Bodegas Antidoto. It is obtained from Prefiloxéricos Vineyards located in the east of the Ribera del Duero. The grape comes from multiple small plots cultivated under ecological viticulture.
The wine is bred for 12 months in barrels of 2 to 3 years in order to preserve the freshness of the grape. It is made by Bertrand Sourdais and David Hernando.
Antidote is a pillory eye color. A surprising expression of ripe fruit on the nose, without overripening, with a subtle wood aroma that brings precision and clarity to the whole.
From Boca Generosa, the wine maintains a fresh and silky balance, distinguished by the terroir of Soria, whose altitude softens the summer rigor.
