Fresh artisan Tiétar Valley goat's cheese (half-cheese) made with pasteurised goat's milk by the well-known cheese factory that produces the famous and award-winning Monte Enebro cheese This fresh cheese of the day is handmade with freshly milked and pasteurised goat's milk, following the recipes and ancestral techniques of the farmers who used to live in the Tiétar Valley. This fresh artisan cheese has a compact structure, an impeccable white colour and a fresh, slightly salty flavour. The soft, creamy and high quality texture of this tender cheese, due to the natural diet rich in vegetation of the area, melts on your palate, creating a delicious sensation in every bite. Its soft consistency makes it perfect to enjoy on its own or spread on fresh bread. This tender artisan cheese is the ideal accompaniment to salads, pasta, or enjoyed on its own with a good wine. Its gastronomic versatility makes it a delicious option for any occasion. It is vacuum packed for better preservation. The history of the Valle del Tiétar cheese factory is linked to the effort and entrepreneurial character of Rafael Báez Bravo-Murillo, a lover of the Tiétar Valley, who decided to create a company linked to agri-food activity. In 1983 he started making 'Cabra del Tiétar' cheese with the milk supplied daily by the two goatherds in La Adrada (the village in the Tiétar Valley where the cheese factory is located) and was advised by masters of the stature of Enric Canut and Ramón Badía. In addition to this fresh artisan goat's cheese, the dairy makes the famous Monte Enebro cheese (gold medal in almost all the World Cheese Awards), the semi-cured cheese from Valle del Tiétar which won the bronze medal at the World Cheese Awards 21/22 and was awarded three stars at the prestigious Great Tase Awards in London.
