Cardeña Tripel was the first beer from Cardeña, followed by the Dubbel and the Quadrupel. It is made under the supervision of the monks of the Cardeña Monastery in Burgos and, therefore, is the first Spanish Trappist beer. It cannot bear the Trappist logo since it is made outside the walls of the monastery. It has been brewed since 2016.
