Dark gold color, on the nose dry grass and chocolate, orange peel. It is young and fresh, with slight smokiness. The palate is clean, with a malty point and in nuts and coconut. Finish between sweet and dry.
In the early 19th century, Helen and John Cumming were illegal distillers, selling their whisky through a window, and using flags to warn their buyers when they could or could not come and buy. Years later, the distillery was hugely successful, as it became part of the John Walker group, being the predominant malt.
