CL98 is a red wine produced by Casa Rojo from Ribera del Duero D.O. made from Tinta Fina grapes and aged for 4 months in oak barrels.
The 100% Tinta Fina grapes come from the area of Castrillo de la Vega, in Burgos. Located at an average altitude of 800 metres, the grapes come from old vineyards between 25 and 50 years old, all owned by local winegrowers.
CL98 has an intense cherry red colour. On the nose, red fruit compote and interesting reminiscences of fine herbs such as thyme. On the palate, long and fresh aftertaste, with notes of scrubland and undergrowth.
