The Diplomatico rum from Destilerias Unidas (DUSA) is the star product of this producer along with the Cacique rums that they also produce in their facilities.
Diplomatico 12 Years is aged in small barrels of selected oak from the reserve, obtained from the artisanal process of distilling sugarcane in old stills.
Appearance: Diplomatico 12 Years has an amber color.
Nose: Its aroma is warm and rich with notes of caramel and honey. It is followed by notes of nuts and citrus peels, and then spicier elements like cinnamon and pepper.
Palate: Very balanced and enjoyable flavor. Very intense and sweet finish.
