Emilín Lustau Moscatel Wine
The Emilín Lustau Moscatel Wine, is a wine aged under the traditional system of Solera and Criaderas in American oak barrels, made exclusively with 100% Moscatel grapes, from the vineyard "Las Cruces" of Lustau, in Chipiona.
Among the recognitions that this wine has received, are the 96 Parker points rating by The Wine Advocate guide and the gold award at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2014, as well as the silver medal at the 2013 International Wine Challenge. Undoubtedly, one of the most awarded wines of Bodegas Lustau.
The Emilín Lustau Muscatel Wine has an alcohol content of 17%. The fermented wine has an average age of eight years, aged by the traditional pyramidal method of Solera and Criaderas, where the young wine enters through the solera, tip of the pyramid, and goes down after the Criaderas, until reaching the base.
It is recommended to serve this wine between 10-12º of temperature. For its aroma and flavor of dried or ripe fruits, it is ideal for pairing with pastries, pasta or fruit-based desserts. The Lustau Moscatel Emilín wine masterfully balances a sweet palate, with the natural acidity of the broth.
