When we talk about good local products from the French terroir, we can't stop talking about ESPRIT FOIE GRAS and the BOTINES family
For three generations, this family has been cooking duck "mulard" in the tradition of the Gers and turning it into products of exquisite quality: foie gras, duck confits, ready meals and fresh products.
At the origin of it all is a grandmother: Régine Soula, in love with cooking and good food. After a successful career as a cook at the Gers restaurant "Chez Maiginé", she embarked on raising geese and ducks organically, i.e. in the open air and fed on grains, seeds and corn.
His daughter, Ghislaine, together with René Boutines later moved into the family farm to develop the economic activity, thus creating a cannery with all the CE standards. His son, Damien, also joined them and developed the ESPRIT FOIE GRAS brand.
WHAT DO YOU OFFER?
In today's world, characterized by globalization and standardization of production and agri-food, it is a real pleasure to be able to taste local products "made in GERS" such as those offered by ESPRIT FOIE GRAS.
The quality of their products has been recognized on numerous occasions, as shown by the various competitions they have won in recent years:

- Finally, the last Concours Général Agricole 2013 awarded once again the gold medal to the whole duck foie gras and the bronze medal to the whole goose foie gras.
- Silver Medal for whole goose foie gras in 2015
- Silver Medal for duck rillettes in 2018

- In addition, all products are certified with the Gers Appellation d'Origine de Gers (PGI in French).
