The Gran Buche Red Wine comes from an area known as the "raposo". Where the sclay soilsfrom an area with an altitude of 560 meters. Here is a spa with a particular microclimate making it a cool place with a thermal difference between day and night.
How El Raposo
Was originated in the year 1860, when a chance event, made people's attention fixed on the waters and muds of what is now the Spa. It was due to an animal, a "Cochinita" which was unable to move due to the inflammation of its joints, so it could not follow the herd that guarded the guard of a large farm, which then belonged to the valley of "El Raposo".
The guard realizing the disappearance of the animal went out to look for her, when he found her she was lying in the pools of the stream that runs through the valley, she was covered with mud. Believing it to be dead, he shook it and to his astonishment it got up with great ease and without symptoms of illness. The news spread among the inhabitants and the nearby towns began to use the waters of the ponds to bathe all kinds of sick animals, all were cured, were evident the healing powers of the waters that then not only cured their animals, many people were cured with these waters.
The harvest that is done for the production of wine is manually, with a rigorous selection in the vineyard and in the cellar.
