Astringent and hemostatic. Reconstituting, remineralizing (contains as much iron as spinach but does not burden the liver like spinach, but instead protects it) and galactogenic. Diuretic and mild laxative.
Recommended method of use for infusions:
Pour the contents of a tablespoon into boiling water and remove from heat. Cover the container and let it sit for 8 to 10 minutes. If they are roots, barks, or seeds, simmer for 2 to 4 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste.
