In 2011, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the birth of Gulden Draak Classic, Gulden Draak 9000 was brewed for the first time. It is also used as the basis for its line of cask-aged beers: Gulden Draak Brewmasters Edition aged in single malt whisky casks for 12 months and Gulden Draak Calvados which matures for 3 to 4 months in Calvados casks, a French liqueur made from apples.
