PROENSA GUIDE 2021 - 93 points
The Red Wine Legaris Alcubilla de Avellanera from Bodegas Legaris presents us with this D.O. Ribera del Duero wine (Spain), made from 100% Tinto Fino grapes. The launch of the Vinos de Pueblo range marks the beginning of the new stage we are embarking on at Legaris, where we aim to express the richness, uniqueness, and diversity of the Ribera del Duero. This wine showcases a Tinto Fino profile perhaps less known, that of the province of Soria. From a small vineyard located in Alcubilla de Avellaneda, we craft this unique wine with a very distinctive Tinto Fino profile: elegant, floral, and delicate.
Viticulture: This wine has been made exclusively with the Tinto Fino variety. The grapes come from a vineyard of about 20 years located in Alcubilla de Avellaneda, a town in the province of Soria located at 926 meters above sea level.
Winemaker's tips: We recommend decanting this wine 60 minutes before serving and serving it at 16ºC. This wine will evolve well in the bottle over the next 8-10 years if kept under proper storage conditions.
