The vineyards at the foot of the sea that Mártin Códax Aurosa comes from are cared for by viticulturists with a great tradition and deep roots. The daily bath of the Atlantic breeze, combined with the granitic soil and the mild microclimate characteristic of these vineyards, give this wine a unique flavor and characteristics.
Visual Phase: Yellow with greenish reflections. Olfactory Phase: Medium to high intensity. Citrus, saline, and iodized notes of algae and low tide, with aromas reminiscent of algae such as samphire and sea fennel. Balsamic notes and aromatic herbs like lemon, bay leaf, and white pepper. Gustatory Phase: Intense, with a lot of nerve, flavorful, very long in the mouth. Citrus and iodized notes stand out on the retro-nasal.
